The Annointing
Acrylic palette knife on canvas. It was during Sunday Service when this visual came to mind of the Holy Spirit pouring down on all the Saints who were worshiping Him. I made them different sizes and colors as we are all on different journeys in this life. The gold halo's are reminiscent of the Old Master paintings interpretations of the Saints. "You anoint my head with oil." ~ Psalm 23:5
